- Willingness to learn and follow recommendations and advice
- Good knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding
- Experience of working in a similar role in a primary school
- Experience of working with children who have special educational needs
- Experience of supporting children’s learning and development.
- Experience of working with children
- 5GCSE’s with a minimum grade C/level 4 or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent for grade 2 role
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent for grade 3 role
- This job is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance
- High levels of professionalism and commitment to the school, colleagues and children
- Ability to ensure the Christian character of the school is evident in day to day work and interactions
- Understands the value of, and listens to the pupils’ voice; genuinely cares for pupil welfare
- High levels of resilience
- Willingness to further own professional development
