A Birmingham based school for young people with social and emotional mental health needs is looking to recruit an ICT Teacher to appoint as their Head of Department, helping to enrich the learning and development of their KS3 and KS4 students.
The school is looking for an ICT Teacher with appropriate SEND experience and the desire to lead a team, who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans and who prides themselves on inspiring each individual student.
The school is for students with autism, ADHD, social and emotional mental health needs and disengaged young people who do not work well in a mainstream setting.
The position is 5 days a week. The school are looking to interview as soon as possible with the desire to take the right candidate on permanently.
As an ICT Head of Department with SEND experience, you will have:
QTS, specialising in ICT.
6 months minimum teaching experience.
3 months minimum supporting/teaching children with SEND.
The ability to cover your subject and potentially some lessons of other subjects.
A passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference.
The desire to take a step up and take on a leadership role.
