Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor Location: Fauldhouse - In between Glasgow and Edinburgh Salary: up to £(Apply online only) per day depending on experience - Possible room for negotiation for the right candidates Job Type: Contract for 8-12 weeks Start: Immediate interview and start My client is looking for some Health and Safety Support on short terms basis in their manufacturing / production facility. Your Role The main stay of this role will be focused around identifying H&S issues and providing training to the site team You will also be involved with the below tasks: ·Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures tailored to our manufacturing environment. ·Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for conveyor systems, JCBs, tipper trucks, and other heavy plant equipment. ·Deliver training programs to ensure employees understand and adhere to safety protocols. ·Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. ·Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards. ·Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance. · What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: ·Qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety. ·Experience: Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. ·Knowledge: Familiarity with machinery safety standards, conveyor systems, and heavy equipment operations such as JCB's, diggers, tipper trucks or similar ·Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. ·Attributes: A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to influence and lead. On offer is a day rate of £(Apply online only) depending on experience, its possible there may be movement on this rate for the right candidate.
