Our client is a market leading engineering company, due to growth they are now looking to recruit and Electrical Design Engineer.

The Role

1. To play a key role in the engineering function, ensuring that the company has a range of high quality, technically innovative and commercially competitive products to offer to the market.
2. Primary responsibility will be driving product value through innovation and efficiency of process.
3. In addition, the role requires that the candidate will be responsible for the continuous improvement and re-engineering of existing products.
4. Duties include engineering support and assistance to other functions internal, and external to the business.
5. Working as part of the engineering team, the role is very much hands on where you will be tasked with creating innovative new designs to expand our current product portfolio.
6. The role will also be involved with maintaining existing product ranges, with projects focused on optimization and cost savings.
7. Additionally, you will support the customers with problem solving and technical enquires.
