About the role
Benefact Group, are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer to join our Gloucester office.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform, working closely with the technical lead, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Dynamics 365 projects. This role will involve customising and extending the Dynamics 365 applications to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities
* Develop and customise Dynamics 365 applications, including Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules.
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
* Design and develop integrations, workflows, plugins, custom forms, dashboards, and reports within the Dynamics 365 environment.
* Collaborate with the technical lead and other team members to ensure alignment with the overall architecture and design principles.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
* Adhere to Group standards and best practices for coding and code check-in. Ensure SonarCloud reports are green for code amendments at check-in.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support for Dynamics 365 applications.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
* Proficient in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, utilising Azure Pipelines and BitBucket actions, and managing cut-over and post-installation activities.
* Work closely with our solution partner's developers to ensure seamless integration and collaboration on projects in-flight.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Dynamics 365 features and updates, incorporating them into solutions where appropriate.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferably Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules.
* Strong proficiency in configuring and customising Dynamics 365 to meet business requirements.
* Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
* Proficiency in developing plugins, custom workflows, and integrations using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
* Familiarity with Azure services and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
* Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to design effective solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform are a plus.
* Familiar with scaled agile delivery and CI/CD practice.
* Experience in general insurance or financial services is desirable, but not essential.
