What skills and experience we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will provide co-ordination for recruitment, initial assessment, pastoral support and oversee the delivery of Maths, English and other subjects to learners on pre and post 16 programmes. As well as managing the programme, the post holder will also be involved in the delivery of learning. As programme areas are being developed the post holder will be expected to deliver.
You will have experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment and of successfully implementing post 16 curriculum and other relevant learning programmes or strategies. You must have experience of working with learners with additional needs and have teaching qualification relevant to post 16. Experience in managing and coordinating learning programmes, a working knowledge of the relevant curriculum areas including functional skills and GCSE English and Maths and strong assessment and programme development skills are essential. Ideally you will also have QTLS or QTS, experience of working to SIP/QIP priorities and be able to demonstrate impact with experience in delivering vocational programmes.
