If this sounds like you, then we have the perfect opportunity to join NHS Shared Business Services as an Assurance Officer The main purpose of the role will be to provide support for Employment Services on the Quality & Assurance processes. Whilst promoting good practice and acting as a point of escalation for all staff across all Employment Services sites. This is hybrid role, predominantly based from home with occasional travel to our Town Quay, Southampton office fortnightly. During the training period, you will be needed in the office 2-3 days a week. This office offers breathtaking views, free car parking and a variety of desk structures to suit all working ways. What you'll be doing: Conducting monthly checks for internal and external audits. Assisting in the preparation of meeting minutes. Promoting awareness of governance-related matters within the organisation. Regularly checking in with team members for updates. Independently running your own tasks and maintaining own schedule. Supporting operational team managers in preparing the audit calendar, without directly conducting audits. Collaborating closely with third-party auditors through weekly meetings to facilitate the audit process. Checking tracker weekly, highlighting issues to line manager. What you'll bring: Strong skills in report writing that clearly convey information. Ability to analyse and interpret data from various sources in a substantial way. Experience presenting information to senior managers or senior leadership teams. Basic understanding of ISO standards and their application. Proven track record of implementing process improvements effectively. It would be great if you had: Previous quality/ assurance/ compliance/ audit experience. Has worked with sophisticated data in a previous role. Experience of Assurance Standard ISAE3402 is desirable not crucial.
