A Programme Manager is required to join a market leading Innovative Aerospace and Defence Technology Company. The Programme Manager will deliver the Programme Business case and achieve customer and stakeholder satisfaction. The Programme Manager will also provide an integrated management of complex projects, other resources and business case objectives. The Programme Manager will provide leadership, coordination and direction to the programme team and facilitate stakeholder engagement. The Programme Manager will report functionally to the Programme Director Programme Manager - Key Responsibilities - Deliver programs to agreed time, cost, quality and benefits parameters. - Motivate and provide leadership for the project managers and broader program team - Ensure open communication throughout the team and with stakeholders - Lead the project managers planning efforts and resolve resource conflicts across projects - Manage relationships with key customer personnel - Direct the supply chain for the whole program - Integrate the reporting for the program across all of the projects - Integrate the outputs from the projects and capabilities - Achieve the required outcomes for the stakeholders and financial control on programmes - Set up and operate the governance for the program Technical Skills and Experience Required for Programme Manager - Degree qualified and Aerospace experience is essential - Risk management experience is essential - Proven track record of change management and experience of NPI projects - Extensive experience of managing projects throughout the full lifecycle - Experience of managing complex aerospace programs - Working in primary and secondary structures is advantageous - Composites and metallic structures experience is advantageous - Strong knowledge of the functional disciplines and supply chain that require management - Goal orientation balancing task, team and individual needs to achieve the right outcomes - Excellent interpersonal skills communication, motivation, persuasion - Drive, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop - Able to deal with ambiguities and uncertainties, a Good mediator able to resolve conflict - Able to take corporate or \'global\' view and deal with senior stakeholders - An ability to develop project managers and increase their efficiency and effectiveness - Commercially and contractually aware with good business acumen Security Clearance may be required for this role
