* Bachelor's degree in Education or BSc degree with PGCE or equivalent is essential.
Minimum Experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in teaching specialist subject areas of Computing from KS1-2 British Curriculum is essential and KS3 is desirable.
* Experience in teaching additional computing-related subjects or specializations, such as coding, robotics or digital literacy is also desirable.

Teaching, Learning & Curriculum Delivery:
* Teach the Primary Computing Curriculum from Nursery to Year 6, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key computing concepts and skills.
* Collaborate with curriculum leads and Heads of Year to embed technology and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into short, medium, and long-term curriculum planning.
* Support the integration of technology standards such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) across the curriculum.
* Implement future-focused digital learning experiences, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), coding, robotics, and emerging technologies into the curriculum.
* Ensure that digital learning strategies align with the Academy's HPL's cognitive and values-based learning framework, fostering high-performance thinking skills such as meta-cognition, collaboration and agile learning.
Technology Integration & Innovation
* Assist in implementing new technologies to support Aldar's Digital Transformation.
* Participate in trials to evaluate new educational tools.
* Support Innovation Drive Teams to align with strategic goals, guided by the EdTech Coach.
* Act as a super user for standard software and hardware, providing support to staff and students.
Student Enrichment & Competitions
* Prepare student teams for tech-based competitions (e.g., Formula Ethara, First Lego League) and lead after-school clubs like coding, robotics, and drone clubs.
Staff Professional Development & Support
* Meet with the EdTech Coach to review progress and goals, lead CPD and INSET sessions on computing, and support teachers in integrating tech across subjects.s.
Digital Citizenship & E-Safety
* Work with the EdTech Coach to promote e-safety and responsible digital habits through awareness campaigns and online safety education.
Professional Growth & Leadership
* Pursue tech-related certifications (e.g., MIEE, Apple Teacher) and take on additional responsibilities to drive digital education innovation.
