Description About the Dental Technician role Join our dedicated and talented Oral Health team as a Dental Technician. Collaborate closely with our innovative Digital Dental Laboratory and leverage your passion for dental technology. Manage daily operations, create and modify high-quality dental laboratory services, and engage with clients to enhance their health and wellbeing while sharing your expertise with fellow team members. Reporting to the Oral Health Manager (with support from the Dental Prosthetist), this is an ongoing full-time role (1.0 FTE). Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Oversee daily operations of the dental laboratory. Provide high-quality dental prosthetic appliances within your scope of practice. Achieve performance targets while maintaining service standards and quality KPIs. Strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders using laboratory services. Maintain accurate records and documentation for the laboratory. Mentor and supervise students in line with your skills and experience. To succeed in this role you will have: A Diploma of Dental Technology or equivalent. Experience as a Dental Technician (5 years is highly desirable), with the ability to work across the full scope of laboratory practice. Proficiency in using technology in dentistry and dental laboratory settings, including CAD-CAM, digital workflows, and experience with 3D printing and milling equipment. Experience mentoring and supervising apprentices, students, and less experienced colleagues (where appropriate and in accordance with skills and experience) For further information about this role, please refer to the position description (available via the YourCH Careers Hub).
