They are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Operations Analyst in Chester on a 6 month contract with the potential to go permanent. This role is hybrid working being office based 3 days a week, 2 days working from home, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. In this role you will be executing several governance processes for non-financial regulatory reporting and supporting regulatory reporting specialists and report owners in the lines of business. Responsibilities include executing manual / partially automated process activities in a timely manner and with attention to detail and data quality. Business processes would include managing production health, remediating reporting errors, status tracking, monitoring risks and metrics, and providing appropriate status updates to governance forums and relevant stakeholders in the Line of Business, Operations, Audit, and/or Compliance. Skills and Background: Banking experience in Operations, Compliance, Audit or Risk background. Experience of regulatory reporting processes. Ability to execute process activities / steps in a timely manner and with attention to detail and data quality requirements. Ability to work within a team environment and to meet deliverable deadlines. Ability to manage operational process improvement projects. Ability to analyze and summarize data. Critical thinking / analytical skills, challenge the status quo mindset and identify innovative solutions. Strong ability to document issues and action plans in a concise, accurate, and well-presented way. Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desired Skills: SharePoint design and development skills. Advanced Excel skills in developing macros and automating manual process steps.
