We are hiring for a Management Accountant!
This role will involve building a solid understanding of the cost and resource base whilst effectively supplying financial support to the broader BU finance team. Build and maintain good relationships with budget cost centre holders and provide business partner support challenging costs and headcount. Produce forecasting and monthly reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis and KPI's.

You’ll be:

2. Excellent numerical & financial skills

7. Understanding of general accounting principles

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Reconciliation of costs and ensuring costs are reflected accordingly in the P&L
2. Reconciliation of headcount to HR data
3. Manage expenditure alongside cost centre owners and provide challenge and insight to cost centre owners
4. Provide support and advise to the business accordingly
5. Production of monthly, quarterly and annual budget/forecasting of cost base and headcount
6. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
7. Ad hoc reporting and variance analysis
8. Supporting with financial queries, expenditure, budget variances, invoices and nominal ledger coding
9. Continuously seek to improve processes
10. Drive automation and efficiencies through using Finance Systems
11. Assist in tracking performance against KPI’s through provision of accurate financial cost information
