Hunter Savageare delighted to partner with a market-leading, construction/manufacturing employer to hire an experienced HR Officer for their Belfast Head Office.
This is a new, permanent HR generalist role, working as part of a highly successful, established HR team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful HR Officer will add significant value to the Company through supporting the broad range of HR activities, as well leading on social value initiatives.
The Role
* Assist with the coordination of end to end recruitment
* Annual review of Company policies and procedures, ensuring all are published and available to staff
* Generate reports/KPIs on HR issues eg health and wellbeing, training, recruitment, social value, sickness absence, apprenticeships etc
* Develop surveys as per the HR calendar
* Administration of the Company’s performance management process
* Develop in-house training modules as agreed with the HR teams using the Company’s Talent LMS software
* Assist with the promotion of careers pathways eg undergraduate programme, work placements, career fairs etc)
* Liaise with the HR Manager on the coordination and implementation of the Company’s social value initiatives
* Participate with the implementation of the Company’s ESG strategy (People Pillar)
The Person
* CIPD qualified
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a HR role
* Experience in managing information
* Competent in the use of MS Office and HR software
* Experience in collating reports on KPIs
* Experience working with external groups/charities
* Working to tight deadlines
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Driving license and ability to travel throughout the UK and ROI
