MIDDAY ASSISTANTS REQUIRED
6-10 hours per week – the school’s lunch period starts at 11.30am
from £14.57 per hour, term time only

Gearies Primary School is a successful, friendly and culturally diverse school providing education to pupils aged 3-11. Following the extension of the universal free school meals programme, we wish to employ additional midday assistants to support children during the lunch period. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are friendly, enthusiastic and who have lots of patience.
Successful candidates will be required to:
• Supervise children during the lunch period
• Encourage healthy-eating
• Provide support to children with special needs, under the direction of the SENCO
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Encourage safe and enjoyable play
• Cover First Aid (training provided)
