We have a fantastic opportunity for a Used Car Manager to join our welcoming team in Ashford. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar automotive environment, having a proven track record in managing your team to deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrating profit orientation and commercial awareness. In addition, the ability to work well under pressure and being an individual who is resilient is essential in this fast paced high pressure role. Responsibilities: • Responsible for vehicle procurement via all available channels including auctions, direct purchases from our customer data base and online platforms. With a minimum volume expectation to be outlined. • Ensuring vehicles are displayed to the highest standard both online and on the forecourt. • Responsible for management of vehicle pricing and updates across all platforms. • Being proficient with vehicle descriptions and adverts. • Attention to detail required when analyzing vehicle images and online adverts. • Provide leadership and effectively manage all staff in order to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales & profit targets set by the dealership. • Effectively managing the movement of trade vehicles and maximizing profit from these vehicles. • Responsible for managing the vehicle preparation process through to the car hitting the forecourt. • Working closely with key personnel, including those from other departments, to establish and implement the best practice to ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service. Due to the nature of this role a full UK driving license is essential. Your standard hours of work will be 44 hours five days a week including Saturdays however, to enhance the work life balance of our Sales teams our dealerships are currently closed on Sundays. Salary has an OTE of £60,000 for the right candidate.
