We are looking for a full time Learning Advisor to join the Foundation Studies team, providing a wide range of programmes for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of outstanding, personalised learning opportunities. We want someone who can assist learners to experience all aspects of College life.
You will need to be flexible, working well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within Foundation Studies.
The successful candidate will have an understanding and experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs.
Working with students at Entry level, a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills is essential. This role requires a proactive professional who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.
You will work with a range of agencies and be responsible for assisting teaching staff, particularly with the preparation and monitoring of individual learning plans, Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) and the maintenance of accurate records.
