Job Title: Class Teacher
We are seeking a highly effective Class Teacher to deliver curriculum subjects at a specialist school in Middlesbrough.
The school caters to mixed-sex pupils aged 4 to 19 with various needs, including SEMH. It is well-resourced, with a high staff-to-student ratio, small class sizes, and a bespoke curriculum tailored to the needs of children and young people.
The school provides meaningful, positive, and personalized educational opportunities for disengaged pupils, preparing them for reintegration into mainstream settings. The environment involves collaborative work among residential and therapeutic practitioners, focusing on promoting student well-being, resilience, and holistic growth.
Full-time education is delivered, covering academic and vocational subjects aligned with national benchmarks. Differentiated teaching and learning activities are conducted within small groups in a purpose-built environment.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency in the future.
