Our Associate Consultants perform a critical role for our clients and internal project team members. You are responsible for managing small projects or playing a supporting role in managing a larger project, across a variety of different practices and client accounts.

Your accountabilities include:
Project Management & Delivery
* Proactively build and update the project plan based on client feedback and progress, raising risks and possible solutions in a timely manner and recommending scope change control actions.
* Respond to changes and problems calmly and approach challenges with a resilient ‘can-do’ attitude. Identify things to change in future projects from this experience and share them with your colleagues.
* Use our project management tools to update project plans, record client project time in our project tracker, and all personal information in our HR tool, following all Uptake’s policies and procedures.
* Set up and support Zoom or Teams calls, and, if required, manage online breakouts, whiteboards, and chat functionality (including launching, saving, and supporting technical issues that occur with Zoom or Teams).
* Schedule client calls, issue agendas, and accurately capture meeting and workshop notes and key decisions as required, testing with project team members for accuracy before sharing with the client.
Client Relationship Management
* Support our principal and consultant team by building rapport with our clients, enthusiastically introducing yourself to our client teams on calls and being a key person of contact for our clients via email.
* Demonstrate strong cultural and business awareness and adapt your own personal style to align with clients, including language, spelling and appropriate dress code.
* Positively introduce yourself to clients, ask questions, check your understanding of key deliverables, and share ideas, to ensure we deliver on time and to the right quality for clients.
Preparing Content
* Create high-level PowerPoint, Excel, and Word documents that are filed in appropriate project folders using correct file naming and version control protocols.
* Use our blueprint and proposal libraries to develop skeleton decks and the first draft of client deliverables for your principal or project teams.
Supporting Team Members
* Coach and support Junior Analysts and Analysts to develop in their role and support their career development.
