Role Purpose:
Delivery of Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Strategies for the company, aligned with the Group.

Procurement Responsibilities:
1. Drive commercial and added value benefits through negotiation of best value Group Frameworks / Agreements aligned with the Group Supply Chain Strategy, including:
* Preferred Supplier Agreements (PSA)
* Preferred Manufacturer Agreements (PMA)
* Third Party Agreements (TPA)
* Regional and National Sub-Contractor Frameworks (SCF)
* Blue Collar Agency Recruitment
* Permanent Recruitment
* Consultants
1. Make recommendations and business cases to the Group Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, Director and other stakeholders for new group agreements and frameworks, including presentation of data, recommendation papers and presentations where appropriate.
2. Ensure that products to be procured via Group Frameworks are compliant with all legislative/statutory requirements.
3. Develop and execute contracts with key supply chain partners identified as best value via the strategic procurement process.
4. Manage strategic relationships with key supply chain partners through a regular series of structured/formal review sessions and information exchange, supported by BU stakeholders where appropriate.
5. Police the frameworks at Strategic level to ensure they are adhered to and not usurped, tackling slippage appropriately with supply chain and business units.
6. Work with all business unit teams to ensure identified direct and third-party rebate opportunities are maximized and recovered.
Supply Chain Responsibilities:
1. Development of our Sub-Contractor Database and alignment of our database with third party data sources.
2. Collation of various data sources, aligning them with our PMO dashboard and analysis of trends for risk management and to identify improvement opportunities.
3. Contribute to and develop our performance measurement culture and processes.
4. Lead on strategic supply chain engagement via a variety of mediums including social media, engagement events, and annual conference(s).
5. Be a leader in bringing innovation to the wider group by aligning our group business(s) with supply chain innovations.
Qualifications:
1. 10 years’ experience in Procurement & Supply Chain roles in the Construction sector, with additional sector experience also a preference.
2. Construction and/or Business-related Qualifications – including NVQ, BSc, BA, MSc.
3. MCIPS.
4. Proficient IT skills particularly in Excel, PowerBi, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
5. Ability to handle and analyse large volumes of data quickly and accurately.
6. Utilises data to support decisions and business improvement.
