Vitaflo (International) Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor, to work at our Liverpool Headquarters on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the SHE Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the SHE Manager in the maintenance and continual development of an effective SHE management system, driving the SHE strategy across all functions of the business.
Supporting the maintenance of internal business and ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
Providing specialist advice in the management of SHE such as standards that need to be adopted to achieve legal compliance; changes to/new legislation and advice on how the legislation can be applied.
Assisting in the development, preparation and/or revision of procedures and safe systems of work.
Leading, training, coaching and supporting employees, contractors and visitors on all aspects of the SHE management system.
Collaborating with Line Managers in the investigation of incidents, compiling necessary reports, identifying root causes and supporting functions to implement corrective and preventative actions and leading on statutory and company reporting requirements
Supporting the creation, implementation, review and delivery of SHE training programmes for all levels of the business.
Leading the creation and delivery of proactive SHE communications and Toolbox Talks.
Managing the day to day running of behavioural safety programmes.
Deputising for the SHE Manager in their absence.
Undertaking specialist projects as directed by the SHE Manager.
Assisting in the evaluation of SHE performance including but not limited to internal auditing and preparation of statistical information and reports.
Who are we looking for?
Demonstrable experience in a safety, health and environment role.
Experience and understanding of ISO certification, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Strong team player who can operate at all levels of the business.
Strong training and coaching background would be beneficial but not essential.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and build effective relationships with key stakeholders to drive behavioural change.
Strong computer literacy skills.
Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload and meet targets.
A can do attitude, with the ability to work on own initiative.
Auditing experience desirable.
Holds or is working towards a recognised safety qualification.
