Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Blue Arrow - Southampton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
* Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
* Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work within set budgets and manage kitchen resources effectively
