Job Summary The primary goal of this role is to foster strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the presence of Synergy’s added-value solutions across their markets. Additionally, the role requires identifying and acquiring new customers in the UK, Ireland, and potentially specified European accounts. Objectives, Roles and Responsibilities Develop comprehensive account plans for existing and new customers, ensuring alignment with Synergy’s value proposition. Provide strategic insight at sales meetings, prioritizing customer development and key market growth. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, reporting progress at sales and management meetings. Interpret customer strategies and ensure they are effectively integrated into Synergy’s business approach. Conduct profit and loss analysis for all products, implementing necessary actions to align with budgetary goals. Maximise opportunities for cross selling the total Synergy range as applicable. Provide business support of the Sweet and Savoury portfolio to the sales, marketing and RD teams of Synergy UK and Synergy Italy. Collaborate regularly with the team to ensure that plans are delivering against vision and strategy Achieve budget by delivering the 2025 sales and gross profit plan. Essential Requirements: 5 years experience in sales, account management, or business development within the food & beverage industry. Strong knowledge of sweet and savoury flavour solutions, with expertise in ingredient functionality and market trends. Demonstrated ability to grow and maintain customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships. A track record of delivering persuasive presentations and successfully selling solutions within a competitive environment Results driven with a growth-oriented mindset. Desirable: Possession of a qualification in Food Science, Business, or Marketing. Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) or Business-to-Customer (B2C) marketing.
