Flint Technology Services is looking for a Project Manager to join one of our clients based in Manchester, 2 days per week with the remaining days working remotely. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of several medium and large-scale IT initiatives as part of the ERP Programme of work. You will coordinate activities of others within the IT Team, the wider business, and the supply chain to deliver the defined outcomes. The strategic IT System Product roadmap calls for the transformation of the ERP systems landscape for Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain processes. The Project Manager will directly work to deliver this critical strategic change for our business.
Responsibilities:
1. With focus on the ERP systems, work closely with the Business, IT SAs, Tech Leads & SMEs to deliver the IT Systems Enterprise Architect roadmap.
2. Orchestrate and coordinate the work of delivery teams from multiple software and System Integration suppliers to deliver several strategically important initiatives aligned to the business requirements.
3. Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and completion of several medium-scale or a large-scale project.
4. Ensure initiatives are managed and documented in line with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, all governance reviews, and reporting metrics completed as required.
5. Keep stakeholders appropriately informed of progress, risks, issues, and escalations raised when required.
6. Provide effective leadership to the project teams and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
7. Monitor and control resources, revenue, and capital costs against the project budget and manage vendor performance to ensure project deliverables are delivered.
Skills and Experience:
1. Extensive experience leading medium-large size IT Delivery Projects using industry best practice techniques.
2. Adept at managing a team to deliver within parameters of scope, cost, and time.
3. Competent at managing typical aspects of IT Delivery projects including planning, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, reporting, change, roadmaps, stakeholders, etc.
4. Demonstrable experience delivering large scale and complex ERP implementations and/or migrations.
5. Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations for Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain processes.
6. Familiar with agile methodology such as Scrum, with the ability to take a lead in agile teams working through an Agile methodology to continuously deliver prioritised value to the business.
