We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated NMC registered Nurse to take the lead in shaping and developing the Neurodevelopmental Pathway Services for ADHD across B&NES and Wiltshire. As a Band 7 Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the ongoing clinical provision, working alongside an experienced team to deliver exceptional ADHD support and management. Your expertise will be central to improving the care and experiences of CYP and their families while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. You will work under a dedicated Professional Lead for Neurodevelopmental Conditions and direct manage a team of talented ND practitioners. This is a permanent role for 22.5 hours a week based at either our BaNES or Wiltshire hubs and there is some flexibility where home working can be accommodated. This role requires travel across our localities so a driving license and access to a car for work purposes are essential criteria for this role. Main duties of the job As a Neurodevelopmental Pathway Team Lead Nurse you will: Lead and Inspire : Provide supportive line management to your team, ensuring adherence to supervision policies while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Drive ADHD Excellence : Take charge of key workstreams to improve ADHD support and management, making a real impact on the service. Balance Leadership & Clinical Practice : Maintain a clinical caseload alongside your Team Leader duties, modeling best practices and encouraging innovative ideas and processes. Collaborate for Success : Work closely with the neurodevelopmental pathways team to integrate services, enhance efficiency, and create a seamless experience for children, young people (CYP), and their families. Empower Families : Work therapeutically with CYP and families, identifying strengths and creating strategies for ADHD management in home and educational settings. Ensure Effective Care : Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth care pathways, timely information sharing, and a unified approach to treatment. Boost Team Capacity : Partner with colleagues to enhance team skills and capabilities through up-skilling and development. Champion Care Pathways : Ensure care pathways are followed and raise any necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.
