Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher.
Ensure students remain on task with the work they have been set.
Manage the behavior of students while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment.
Support for Students:
Address any questions from students about process and procedures.
Provide feedback to students where necessary.
Encourage students to engage with the material and complete tasks.
Administrative Duties:
Record attendance in accordance with school procedures.
Collect any completed work after the lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher.
Report any issues arising during the lesson to the regular class teacher or senior staff member.
