Our client is a successful niche firm based in Manchester, that is expanding due to continued growth and is seeking a skilled Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team. In this role, you will manage a varied and complex caseload while providing high-quality service to clients. The role offers excellent scope for career progression within a multi-service law firm with a national and international client base.
As a Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
* Manage a caseload of serious injury/clinical negligence matters from inception to completion.
* Support the team leader in the day-to-day running of the department and assist colleagues as needed.
* Assess liability and quantum, reviewing medical reports, researching case law and maximising billings to meet targets.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
* Work with a multi-disciplinary team of experts including medical professionals, care experts and counsel.
* Analyse evidence, draft documents, and secure interim payments and rehabilitation.
* Ensure minimal write-offs and maintain strong commercial awareness.
Required skills and experience:
* 5-10 years PQE with significant recent multi-track experience in serious injury/clinical negligence.
* Strong technical fee-earning skills in RTA, EL/PL and Clinical Negligence.
* Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail and a focus on client care.
* Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen.
* Proficiency in using case management systems.
