About the Role:
As the Office Manager, you will be a key part of the daily operations, ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing administrative support to the team. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including office organisation, communication, and supporting senior management with administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Document control
* General admin
* Buying
* Estimating (this can be taught if the candidate has an understanding on drawings and measurements and can use excel)
* Business development
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in the construction or timber frame industry would be beneficial
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with project management software
* Basic understanding of financial processes (e.g., invoicing, budgeting)
* Previous exposure to HR or recruitment functions
