VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
Join the Team at Hook Norton Veterinary Group as a Veterinary Receptionist (Small Animal) – Flexible Hours Available: 30, 35 or 40 Hours.

In response to increasing demand and sustained growth, we are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our Small Animal Reception Team. You'll rotate between our Hook Norton Hospital and either our Moreton or Charlbury Branch.

While full training on our practice management system will be provided, proficiency in IT and a knack for quickly learning new systems are essential.
Ideal Candidate
Residing within commuting distance of Hook Norton/Moreton-in-Marsh or Hook Norton/Charlbury, you'll ideally have experience in a clinical setting, such as a doctor's or dentist's office. Face-to-face interaction with clients will be a significant part of your role, and you may occasionally assist veterinarians at the branch (full training provided).
Receptionist Essentials:
1. Minimum of 2 years' customer service experience, handling face-to-face inquiries (clinical, retail, or hospitality background preferred)
2. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict protocols
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations professionally
4. Demonstrated IT proficiency at an advanced level
5. Capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy
6. Must have own transport due to our locations

* Starting pay of £12.21/hr, increasing to £12.60/hr after successful probation (enhanced rate considered for experienced veterinary receptionists)
* Shifts between 7:45 am and 7 pm, rotating weekly between early and late shifts, with 1:6 Saturday mornings
* Multi-site role alternating between Hook Norton and Branch locations (Moreton in Marsh, Charlbury, Deddington)
