Project Manager Role at Braintree
Braintree is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee hybrid projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver projects on time, meeting quality standards.
* Apply consistent project management techniques and adhere to established processes.
* Mentor junior team members, demonstrating how to achieve targets while leading by example.
* Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders for clear communication and successful objectives execution.
* Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and publish them to MS Project Server.
* Conduct Phase Gate Reviews at appropriate project stages, ensuring timely completion.
* Collaborate with customers to define, document, and manage project scope.
* Identify risks, issues, and dependencies within projects, resolving them proactively to avoid escalation.
* Work with the Finance Team to establish and monitor project budgets, using data such as schedule-derived ETCs and risk-adjusted cost exposure.
* Create project dashboards and present monthly status updates to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Programme Directors to develop technical and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in managing engineering projects across various lifecycle stages, with a focus on production.
* Proven ability to motivate and drive teams to meet critical deadlines and deliver projects successfully.
* Skilled in managing customer expectations and preventing scope creep.
* Strong knowledge of risk management principles and their application in project delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, conveying ideas clearly and persuasively across all organisational levels.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
* Practical understanding of when to take ownership of tasks and when to escalate issues appropriately.
* Proficient in using project management and resource tools, such as MS Project or similar enterprise systems.
* Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
* A recognised qualification in project management methodologies is desirable.
* Security Clearance eligibility.
