We are currently partnered with a well-respected multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy as they look to bring on-board a talented Civil Engineer with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a similar environment to their team in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
The incumbent team is highly motivated and committed to the delivery of successful projects. This ethos has led to an expanding workload and the requirement for a Civil Engineer who will enjoy the challenges provided by their diverse range of clients and projects.

Key Skills and Experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy.
2. BSc or BEng qualified, ideally with a year in industry working for a consultancy.
3. An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports.
4. Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Site appraisals, feasibility assessments.
2. Pre-application planning advice, technical support for outline and detailed planning applications and the approval of reserved matters, discharging planning conditions.
3. Production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments.
4. Drainage remedial works.
5. Earthworks modelling.
6. Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction.
7. Highways design - local authority and private residential/commercial (S38 / 184 / 278).
8. Road and Sewer / SuDS Adoption.
9. Contract Management.
10. Client's Representative.
11. Expert Witness.
