The National Spinal Injuries Centre has a mixture of band 5 nursing opportunities for candidates who are looking for a role in either an acute or rehab environment. Main duties of the job This nurse is a member of a multi-disciplinary team whose aim is to deliver a co-ordinated, comprehensive and holistic service for patients within the NSIC. Acts at all times in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct (ensures working colleagues also act in accordance with Code of Conduct). Supervises the work of the nursing team, ensuring individual programmes of care are formulated accordingly to patient needs and current research/guidelines. Ensures planned nursing care is delivered safely and effectively taking into account the views of the patient and their relatives. Ensures plans of care are updated as appropriate.
