Town and Country have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our brilliant team on a permanent full-time basis. The role consists of a blend of clinical and managerial work whilst working closely with the Practice Manager and Head Nurse across our 3 branches on a rota basis to support and mentor the team. The successful candidate will be required to carry out clinical work which will include both consultations and surgery plus have the drive and ambition to shape and direct the business.
Rota Patterns
Our current CD rota consists of working 4 days a week plus 1:4/5 Saturdays with a day back in lieu. However, if these hours don't suit you, please still get in touch as we understand how important a good work/life balance is and are open to discussing other working patterns.
There is no OOH or Bank holidays in this role which is great for a work-life balance.
About the practice
Town and Country Vets are a first opinion, small animal veterinary group with three great sites based in Blackburn, Clayton-le-Moors & Whalley, with Whalley feeding the more complex cases to the other 2 surgeries. Our client base is loyal, and we offer the best standards of service and care to patients and clients alike.

One of our strongest suits is our lovely well established team which consists of 5 Vets, 1 Clinical Director, 9 Nurses, 1 VCA, 7 Receptionists and 1 Practice Manager. We are a friendly team, some of whom we trained and are still with us decades later! Everyone is hard-working, approachable & supportive with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. professional development is supported within our team.
