Join us at De Vere Beaumont Estate in this pivotal role that brings weddings and special events to life!
As a Wedding & Special Events Manager, you'll be at the heart of our hotel, turning initial enquiries into unforgettable experiences. You will conduct captivating show rounds, showcasing our venue to the local wedding market. From planning to execution, you'll coordinate with our operational team to ensure each event is a success.
This is a full-time role involving various shifts including 8:00am-16:30pm, 9:00am-17:30pm, 09:30am-18:00pm, and 11:30am-20:00pm. Weekend work is shared, aiming for every other weekend, with flexibility for holidays.
Your skills and experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or events venue
* Passion for events and delivering memorable guest experiences
* Strong communication skills to build relationships with colleagues and guests
* IT proficiency; familiarity with Opera software is a plus but not essential
* Shared values such as warmth, genuine approach, anticipation of guest needs, and attention to detail
