Role - Chartered Landscape Architect
Location – Bedfordshire
Salary - £35 - £40K DOE
Lead Careers are working with the UK’s leading company who specialise in cemeteries and crematoria. Their multidisciplinary team are dedicated to creating meaningful and impactful landscapes and due to extreme success, are excited to be expanding their landscape architecture team by bringing in a new Landscape Architect.
Their work has been recognised with multiple awards, underscoring their commitment to excellence and innovation, and with 80% of their client base being local authorities, anyone joining will have the opportunity to work on projects that have a lasting positive impact on communities.
While there are 4 departments within the business, those being landscape, engineering, planning and project management, their current team of 4 landscape architects now needs an additional person to help shape spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also profoundly significant for bereaved families. The appreciation of the landscape is paramount, both for their clients and for those who seek solace and remembrance within these sacred spaces.
This is an exciting and integral role working on sensitive schemes where you will ensure every element of the landscape enhances the experience of peace and reflection for visitors.
CHARTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY REQUIREMENTS
* A degree in Landscape Architecture
* High quality report writing to support landscape related planning documentation to include Strategic Master Planning, Land Visual Impact Assessments, Design and Access Statements
* Experience with Vecterworks/AutoCAD, Keyscape, Photoshop, Sketchup.
* High quality technical and analytical skills to support the delivery of all drawing and supporting information to meet Client Briefs.
* Willingness to travel to site visits across the UK.
* Awareness of National Planning Policy.
* Full UK driving license
