Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
Hours: Full Time - 12 months contract

Job Role:
This post holder will be primarily responsible for designing and delivering rehabilitation programmes and supporting and coaching staff to achieve desired outcomes.
1. Effectively manage a caseload of complex rehabilitation residents.
2. Carry out in-depth assessments and use these to formulate therapeutic plans.
3. Deliver high-quality person-centred dynamic rehabilitation sessions.
4. Effectively utilise outcome measures to monitor the effectiveness of therapy interventions.
5. Work closely with members of the MDT to support residents and families with goal setting and discharge planning.
6. Complete access and home visits for residents to aid discharge planning.
7. Play a leading role in rehabilitation review meetings.
8. Liaise with external agencies such as CCGs, social services, wheelchair services, etc.
9. Act as a key point of contact for residents and their family members.
10. Produce high-quality written reports and rehabilitation documentation.
11. Participate in the recruitment of the rehabilitation service staff team as required.
12. Contribute to regular clinics with Consultant in Rehabilitation medicine.
13. Act as Clinical Educator for students on placement.
14. Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants.
15. Provide clinical training and education to support workers.
16. Take a leading role in CPD and personal development through regular supervisions.
17. Play an active part in the weekly MDT in-service training programme.
18. Contribute to service development projects and, where suitable, take a leading role in their creation and delivery.
19. Keep abreast of new developments in the profession and bring innovation and creative input to the role for consideration and discussion with the line manager.
20. Attend all mandatory and developmental training courses relevant to the post and as agreed with the line manager.
Compliance Responsibilities:
Work in accordance with all relevant legislation (e.g., CQC standards, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty, Health & Safety at Work, etc.) and in line with The Marbrook Centre's policies and procedures at all times, contributing (if and when appropriate) to the revision of these documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Registered with HPC
3. Evidence of Neuro-specific CPD
4. Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
5. Experience working in neurological rehabilitation
6. A keen interest in caring for people who have neurological conditions
7. Sound knowledge of health & safety at work processes
8. Friendly and approachable demeanor
9. Willingness to learn and develop
