A highly successful firm of Accountants is looking for some extra help during a busy period from an experienced practice Accounts Assistant. While this role is expected to be temporary (circa 2 months), it could become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for:
1. Accounts preparation from incomplete records, preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
2. Assisting with implementing cloud-based bookkeeping systems for clients, including advice and training.
3. Drafting Corporation Tax returns including tax/capital allowance computations.
4. Self-assessment tax returns.
5. Use of Xero, VT, Excel, etc.
6. Assisting with problem-solving bookkeeping issues.
You will need previous practice experience and ideally will have studied AAT / ACA / ACCA, etc. The firm is looking for someone to start as soon as possible but can consider those who have short notice periods.
