Your New Role:
This is an exciting new role at Häfele UK, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to spearhead our Quality, Compliance and Sustainability functions. The role is pivotal in maintaining our integrated management systems and certified standards while driving sustainability initiatives. You will work closely with other colleagues across Group to share best practice, influence ways of working and drive through improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management:
Lead the QA team to achieve best practice standards and support operational efficiency
Continually drive improvements in quality across all business departments
Maintain and exceed Häfele’s quality and service levels
- Compliance:
Ensure company policies and procedures align with legislative, regulatory, and ethical standards
Conduct internal audits, mitigate legal risks, and ensure compliance across operations
Act as the subject matter expert on compliance-related topics and manage compliance projects
- Sustainability:
Develop and implement strategies in collaboration with supply chain, category teams and supplier partners
Ensure ethical and environmental standards meet and exceed regulatory requirements
Engage with customers and the wider Häfele Group to align sustainability activities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience or working knowledge in a warehouse/production environment
- Experience in managing sustainability/compliance activity, projects and policy
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of translating plans into action
- Strong ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate effectively within the business
- Experience in quality investigations and implementation of corrective actions
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of SAP systems and integrated management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001 etc)
- Internal auditor training for Environmental and Quality Management Systems is preferred
