Summary

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development, execution, and supply of creative content across M&S - more specifically the Corporate Affairs team. Continuously looking for innovative ways to capture and design compelling content.
The Corporate Affairs team are accountable for building belief in M&S's transformation and growing its relevancy, all while maintaining exceptional public trust in the brand. We are a digital first communications team, dynamic, creative and increasingly data driven, and we need dynamic creative and data-driven people to help us drive the change we need to make.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Co-ordinate and direct the pre-production process, including concept development, storyboarding, and script analysis. Help develop and organise our in-house video marketing strategy.
* Manage and support our in-house Graphic Designer to conceptualise and develop designs, oversee art direction, ensuring consistency and alignment with project objectives and brand style.
* Direct, film and edit videos to the highest standard across multiple platforms - social media, internal, events and more. Ensuring compliance with legal standards, securing all necessary filming/ photography permits and rights.
* Evaluate potential risks associated with projects, implementing preventative strategies.
* Stay ahead of the latest industry trends and advancements in video production technology. Work closely with the Content & Channels Manager and Graphic Designer to bring the M&S story to life.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Experience using all camera equipment - both photography and videography, and sound recording equipment with knowledge of numerous camera operating techniques, video styles and video formats.
* Evidential post-production experience in editing video and audio to a high standard, with an understanding of video editing software (Premier Pro).
* Experience with Adobe suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
* A good understanding and experience of designing across multiple business channels from print to social to digital with experience working with business partners with confidence - with the ability to direct professionally.
* Ability to prototype to visualise and demonstrate ideas in a fast paced environment.
