Position: Bank Support Worker - Children’s Residential Care Home
Contract: BANK – zero hours contract
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire – (DRIVERS ESSENTIAL)
Salary: £12.40 - £12.66 per hour

Vacancy:
We currently have opportunities for BANK support workers to work across our children’s residential care homes in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Although previous experience of working in children’s services is not essential, we are looking for passionate and caring support workers who have a keen interest in positive outcomes for children and young people and can act as positive role models.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate to the young people the value of education, care, and development to achieve better outcomes.
2. Build and create mutual trust and respect with young people to ensure they respond appropriately to information and advice.
3. Define structures and boundaries of behaviour to young people, acting as a positive role model.
4. Produce, maintain, and distribute house paperwork to ensure relevant information is recorded accurately.
5. Support and analyse young people’s behaviour to encourage participation in a positive structured routine.
6. Create and produce activities to develop young people’s life skills and education.
7. Maintain knowledge of and apply relevant legislative, regulative, and standards against inspection framework requirements.
8. Provide basic advice and skills to young people on managing their finances and other everyday life skills.

6. A full UK Driver’s license.
