Installation Fitter
* Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 Per annum
* Working hours: 0800 - 1700 Mon to Fri
* 22 Days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Note: There will be a requirement to travel long distances and spend nights away from home.
Overtime: There will be some overtime, & occasional weekend work required.
CRC Recruitment Ltd are proud to partner with a long established and growing family business supplying Garage Equipment, with an innovative approach who are seeking Installation Fitters to join their team.
Main Duties will include:
1. Attending customer sites to carry out installations, maintenance, and repairs on a range of hydraulic vehicle lifts and associated garage equipment.
2. Working to ensure that the product is installed to customer specification.
3. Telephone technical customer support.
4. Travelling to customer sites and staying overnight away from home.
5. Completing and returning all service documentation.
6. Ensuring the upkeep of tools, van, and stores.
7. Ordering & collection of parts as necessary to complete installations, repair, or service requirements.
8. Ensure stock is maintained and regularly audited. Paperwork completed to customer/company requirements.
9. Ensure that documentation & manuals necessary to fulfil the role are current & available at all times.
10. Support colleagues where necessary, ensuring a high level of service & support is maintained.
11. Ensure company equipment is fit for purpose, including service plans, maintenance, and repairs are carried out to the highest standards while observing manufacturers' guidelines.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have experience working within a mechanical or engineering background. In-house and onsite training will be given.
2. Be well organized and must be able to work without supervision, to a high standard, with good communication skills.
3. Knowledge of hydraulic principles, mechanical knowledge, and possible electrical knowledge.
4. Work well within a team, taking decisions.
5. Be able to solve & resolve issues the job throws up with a 'can do' attitude.
6. A polite, professional, customer-focused manner when speaking directly to the end user/clients.
7. A full clean or low point driving licence.
8. Professional and presentable at all times.
9. Understanding of Health and Safety, especially on customer sites.
