We've embarked on an exciting programme to introduce Electronic Patient Record (EPR) in June 2025 which will involve changes for almost every member of staff. It's part of a wider digital programme to transform our organisation from being the last in London without an EPR.
Launching an EPR is one of the top priorities for the organisation and its success relies on high quality communication and engagement strategies.
You'll be managing a very high-profile portfolio of work involving strategy development and delivery; coordinating of activity across a range of networks and building on relationships with key stakeholders, staff and partner organisations.
You'll also be responsible for aligning with and developing strategies for other elements of our digital programme.
You'll need a creative flair, a love of working in a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and of course a passion for all things digital.
Main duties of the job
We've embarked on an exciting programme to introduce an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to drive measurable benefits across patient outcomes and experience, staff satisfaction and reduction of waste/duplication. This will involve changes for almost every member of staff and therefore requires excellent communications to succeed.
It's part of a wider digital programme to transform our organisation from being the last in London without an EPR and the least digitised. It is a varied and high-profile portfolio, with responsibility for staff engagement and experience, internal communications and campaigns, and the use of digital technology.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously developing our stakeholder communications and engagement strategy, continuing to build our relationships with key stakeholders, staff and partner organisations to ensure the success of this programme.
You will help set the strategic direction for the communications around the programme, as well as support the development and delivery of the programme objectives.

Patients across north east London are benefitting from two new state of the art theatres at KGH and our Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Community Hospital and St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub will significantly increase the number of scans that can be carried out.

Person Specification
Skills / Abilities
* Ability to produce well-designed communication materials, using various software packages, including Publisher, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and equivalent.
* Understanding of research and insight to develop effective behaviour change campaigns.
Experience / Knowledge
* Experience delivering an EPR or other large-scale transformation programme.
* Experience of effective staff engagement work and internal communications including evaluation.
* Experience of managing a brand and application of accessibility legislation across a range of channels.
* Experience of working with partners and building relationships with other stakeholders to deliver effective communication campaigns.
