Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £15.00-£16.64 an hour
Benefits:
1. 4-day working week (Hours Mon – Thurs: 07:00 – 16:45)
2. Production bonus each quarter (performance related so not guaranteed) Up to £360 per quarter

As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on designing and manufacturing cost-effective solutions for a variety of industries, including aviation, space systems, defense, energy, and medical systems. Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts. Ensuring compliance to requirements before release.
2. In process and finished goods inspection.
3. Logging direct activities onto ERP system.
4. Communication of quality failures to relevant department and managers.
5. Process auditing.
6. Undertake First Article Inspection Reports activities in accordance with internal processes.
7. Calibration of measuring equipment.
8. To support the supply chain to both internal and external customers.
9. Signing first and last inspection reports.
10. Reporting of non-conforming parts and ensuring containment is completed.
11. To ensure zero defects reach end user.
12. Ensure all work is to the standard of AD Merkblatt AD2000 (where required).
13. Use of CMM and FARO Arm.
Skills and Requirements:
1. Operational experience of CMM (programming desirable).
2. Experience of FARO Arm.
3. Verniers, micrometers, PI tapes.
4. Non-conformance reporting of ARP Systems.
5. Experience in Metal Fabrication, Machining and Spinning.
6. Use of Engineering Drawings.
