We proudly serve Southern Ontario with 8 locations (Alliston, Ayr, Elmira, Listowel, Ospringe, Tavistock, Smithville, and Norwich), offering a robust parts inventory and over 90 technicians able to provide service and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
* Work with the store management team to develop and follow an annual service budget and plan to provide realistic, attainable, and measurable service profit goals and operational objectives.
* Participate in the development and execution of the Service marketing plan.
* Resolve customer complaints relative to service with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
* Recruit, train, appraise, and provide direction to service personnel to support service sales growth and customer service requirements.
* Control and maintain proper paper flow in the Service Department to reflect all service activity necessary to audit and assess the performance of the department and individual employees on a monthly basis.
* Assist in the appraisal of repair work coming into the Service Department.
* Provide a leadership role within the service department while working alongside shop and field technicians to achieve departmental goals and tech efficiency.
* Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to the employees according to their skills and knowledge.
* Ensure that the service department is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment and that they are maintained in good working order.
Skills and Requirements:
* Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively direct and promote teamwork, cooperation, and customer satisfaction.
* A natural mechanical proficiency along with knowledge of diagnostic equipment and specialized tools is required.
* Must be thoroughly familiar with John Deere and competitor’s products.
* Must demonstrate the skill and knowledge required to direct repair work.
