As an HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all people-related issues, providing support and guidance throughout the employee journey. Your responsibilities will include advising, guiding, and coaching managers on HR best practices; supporting employee relations, performance management, and exit processes; managing HR systems and reporting to ensure accurate management reporting and system updates; contributing to broader HR initiatives and supporting the delivery of our people and culture strategy; providing HR administrative support and service, including continuous improvements and process enhancements; managing absence data reporting and Occupational Health provision; and ensuring alignment across UK sites on policies, processes, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Participate in key operations meetings and advise management on the employee relations impact of operating decisions. Work with HR Shared Service functions to deliver site business goals across recruitment, L&D, reward, and recognition. Support annual processes such as pay review and profit share. Guide and advise line management on compensation and benefits issues. Act as a super-user on HR systems (Workday and Autotime), resolving employee queries and supporting HR technology projects. Ensure compliance with employee background screening and associated requirements. Deliver HR induction for new employees. Coordinate work experience and associated procedures for the site. Ensure compliance with regular audits, including BSi and other customer/HMRC/Home Office audits. Qualifications & Experience: CIPD Level 3 and working towards Level 5 or above (desirable). Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an HR Administrator/Advisor/Generalist or similar role. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems (experience with Workday beneficial but not essential). Key Competencies: Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
