Role: People & Culture Specialist (Maternity Cover) Salary: Up to £32K Contract type: Fixed Term Contract (12-15 months) Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week, including 1 hour paid lunch each day) We offer flexibility of working hours. But for this role, we’d like you to join us in the office up to twice a month as our team gets together in person more regularly. We’re in search of a People & Culture Specialist to cover a 12-15 month period of maternity leave. We are looking for an approachable, positive and organised person to help to deliver a fantastic people experience for our team. Working closely alongside and reporting into our Head of People, you will be responsible for general HR administration, recruitment coordination, through to onboarding and benefits administration. If you are someone with excellent attention to detail, who is personable and looking for an opportunity to develop your HR expertise within an exciting and people focussed company, then this might be for you. Main Responsibilities: Own HR administration, ensuring all employee records and contracts are up to date on our HR system. Assisting with all aspects recruitment - from making jobs live across various platforms, through to working closely with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and liaising with candidates to provide a first class experience. Responding to internal team member queries. Managing the end-to-end onboarding process for any new joiners. Handling any off-boarding processes, including any documents required for a seamless transition. Compliance tasks, such as GDPR cleansing. Using our HR system to issue team member letters, contracts and other documentation. Providing administrative support to process and maintain team member benefits. Work alongside our Head of People on activities and projects (including employee engagement, career development, training and policies) Improve our processes to help ensure the People & Culture team are operating effectively and efficiently. Our Ideal Candidate: Previous experience within a HR support role. Personable and proactive. Organised with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow processes and independently spot where improvements can be made. Excellent prioritisation skills.
