Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive Religious Education lessons to students of varying abilities (Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5) Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's objectives Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Degree in Religious Education or a related field Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service Understanding and knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Religious Education and achieve their academic goals A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices The School: Our school is a thriving mainstream secondary institution located in the vibrant town of Chertsey.
