Band 7 Locum Radiotherapist Location: Torquay Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Working Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Radiotherapist to join our team in Torquay on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive rate of £30.00 per hour and involves working 40 hours per week. The position is available for an initial duration of 3 months, with an immediate start. Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Radiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients, ensuring the highest standards of care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists and medical physicists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your duties will include operating advanced radiotherapy equipment, monitoring patient responses, maintaining detailed records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the radiotherapy service. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent. Current registration with the HCPC. At least 2 years of experience in a Band 7 Radiotherapist role or similar. Proficiency in using advanced radiotherapy equipment and techniques. Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
