Events Assistant - Swindon Summary INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our Events team on a 6-month fixed term contract. We’re embarking on a new phase in fundraising with ambitions for significant growth to help ensure that our work in conservation and for nature continues, that everyone feels welcome and enjoys access to our places. What it's like to work here You’ll join the Fundraising team, supporting a range of events for our Donors, Funders and supporters with a focus on legacy events. Please be aware that this role will involve travel to properties or regional hubs to meet with supplier and to carry out work. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you’re based at other times. You’ll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing As an Events Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of memorable and well-organised events. Working closely with the Events Officers, you’ll help coordinate the logistics for your own portfolio of high-quality events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to a high standard. You'll be involved in the day-to-day delivery, from sending invitations and communications to maintaining accurate event records and timelines. You'll be a valued part of a collaborative team, contributing to the wider goals and planning of the Events team. With a proactive and flexible approach, you'll help create experiences that inspire, welcome and connect people to the places we care for.
