Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available on Perran Ward within Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a new Ward Manager. Perran is an established 15 bed acute admission ward supporting those who require inpatient care, providing recovery focused care & treatment. We are inspired by some of the best practice and emerging evidence base from around the country and are not afraid to trial new and original thinking for the benefit of our service users. Main duties of the job The ward manager post requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is able to demonstrate the skills necessary to lead a team both clinically and operationally within a mental health inpatient setting. Our emphasis is on providing a therapeutic environment, offering a holistic approach to treatment in a safe and supportive environment which promotes the principles of reablement and recovery. The team operates a Multi-disciplinary team approach to ensure best practise and high quality care. The team also works with various professionals, carers and community staff to ensure effective delivery of care and a planned, safe and timely discharge.
