Can you help us attract the best people that make Hackney a better place for everyone?
We are looking for an experienced coordinator/administrator to join our first-class recruitment team. Your role will be to provide seamless support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
You will facilitate the coordination of the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and assessments, liaising directly with candidates, conducting pre-employment checks, whilst updating and keeping candidates informed at various stages of the recruitment process. You will also keep in touch with our new starters, ensuring they have a great onboarding experience whilst responding to routine inquiries, managing our busy recruitment line and inbox. You will be confident at presenting in front of others remotely or face to face, as you will be required to facilitate and present on our first-day induction for new starters.
Crucially, you will bring demonstrable experience in providing first-class administrative support within a busy team. To thrive in this role, you will have a great depth of recruitment administrative processes, whilst being highly organized and able to manage a demanding workload.
We need someone who is flexible and able to plan and prioritize tasks while working under pressure to ensure deadlines are met. As this is a 12-month fixed-term contract, you will be eager and able to hit the ground running, demonstrating initiative and proactivity. You will have an important role not only in the team but you will often be the first and last point of contact for candidates in their recruitment journey.
This role offers hybrid working and requires a few days in the office and working from home. It also attracts a competitive salary, with excellent staff benefits.
